True Friendship and Self-Preservation I can't help some of these people you're talking about. They need to work on themselves. But you and I will be the first ones there to encourage them. But I can't have somebody bringing me down. I'm not going to jump in the water with someone that's drowning. We both die. I'll assist you from a distance. But I just can't let you ruin this happy vibe that we got and what we're doing. And if there's any way to readjust you and be forthright with you and call the balls and the strikes, let you know what's happening, then you're a real friend. You're a true friend. The best friends are the ones that got through the tough times with you. And we're still your friend after that. The Role of Partnership in Business Success I knew that I was over my head after the second month because I had about a half a dozen agents. I was doing the accounting, HR, the training, and I realized that I was just becoming uncomfortable. And so my wife, who was the top jewelry saleswoman for Cafe Brit at the International Airport, she was there for four years. She was crushing it. She said, all right, kiddo, I think I'm going to join you first to keep you out of trouble. And because I have a home court advantage, and if I didn't have that partner, in fact, I might be the owner, but she's the boss, I would have never been where I am today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMNiXz9zj50 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/w8W0UvqAouw https://youtu.be/fMOVAtmC7yA

Where's your go-to place, your safe space where you just go to recharge? Love that question. I like me time. I can't do Eastern meditation as much as I wish I could, but there are certain activities that I do on a daily and weekly basis that keep me centered and balanced. I wake up every day at 5.30 and I hit my home gym for a couple hours. That's guaranteed. On Sundays, I like to wash my convertible. And also, I like my pinball marathons. I mean, I bought the games and restored them. I'm definitely going to play them. And so these are the sort of trade-offs, the little things that I do. And there's other things as well. But I definitely will be doing these three things on a weekly basis, not on a daily basis. And That keeps me grounded when I put my phone away. And after about 20 minutes of decompressed stimulation, I'm allowed to let my mind water. I get some image streaming. And that's sometimes when I come across my best ideas.

Weak leads and Glengarry Glen Ross

Cash Flow Pro Podcast with Casey Brown. Telemarketing expert tips on Cold Calls guest Richard Blank. In this episode of Cash Flow Pro, we go on a new journey as Casey Brown sits down with Richard Blank, Founder of Costa Rica's Call Center, to discuss the art and business of telecommunications. As real estate investors, we understand that sometimes cold calling does not always work the way we expect it to. Well, that ends today. Episode #141. Originally from Northeast Philly, Richard always showed a deep appreciation and passion for the Spanish language. He was a Spanish communication major and, at twenty, got the opportunity to work at a friend's call center in Costa Rica. By the age of thirty, he threw his hat in the ring and started his own call center. Richard takes the time to dissect with us some of the myths, struggles, and techniques behind the phone line. In this episode, we discuss: Setting up a telemarketing team Work and workers in Costa Rica Investing in your employees International employees and the telecommunications business How to avoid being classified as spam while sourcing leads Calling as a concierge service Tune in on this episode to discover how you can make the most out of your cold calls! Efficient Call Center Practices So let's talk a little bit about when you make the call. You said you make the call, you're working with them, you're talking to them or your agents or your call center. employees are working in the middle of pinball games. They get a warm lead. Hey, my husband and I were just sitting around talking yesterday. We're thinking about we might put the house on the market in a couple of weeks. What happens to that call right then? depending on the client, I love red bat phones. Sometimes we do hot lead transfers and we stay on the line to do a warm transfer. Keep them ready until you pick up, do the proper introduction, Casey, Mr. Jones is on the phone and he wants to sell his house, three bedrooms, two baths on Main Street. Favorite Book Recommendation I would like to ask you a couple of questions. And the first of those questions is, what is the best book that you have recently read or are currently reading? My favorite book is Anthony Adverse. It's from Harvey Allen in the 1930s. It's very long. It's 1,234 pages, but I think you'll enjoy it. Wow. That's a good one. That's the first time we've ever had that one. So, all right. Weak leads and Glengarry Glen Ross How about this? Like Blake was telling everyone in Glengarry Glen Ross that the leads are good and he can make 15 grand in two hours, even though Jack Lemmon said the leads were weak. The leads could be severely weak. I could be calling for an ice cream company and it's a bike company. Your lead is way off unless they are looking for cash advances or something like that. But let's just say the list is old enough where someone retired. the company downsized, were bought out, or you just get transferred because the number changed into the mailroom or another department, those leads could still be good, possibly better. https://youtu.be/C6ZGGKdupB4 https://youtu.be/00FO6Ylvhbg https://youtu.be/N8wQQFgwRbc https://youtu.be/Oq2Pk5Qtq3Q
