JD FORTUNE of INXS wants to hang out at CCC in Costa Rica

JD FORTUNE of INXS wants to hang out at CCC in Costa Rica.

"Hey, It's your boy JD from INXS." The video begins in a true rock star fashion. Jason Bennison is a Canadian singer and song writer that won the 2005 CBS reality television series Rock Star: INXS.  The incredible grand prize was to follow the late and great Michael Hutchence as the lead singer of  INXS. His solid run with the band came to an end in August 2011.

"I want to wish Richard and his amazing staff a happy 12th anniversary."  CCC appreciates the sincere message.  It’s an honor to have even this little bit of a correspondence with a member of the band. INXS celebrated more than 40 years of sharing their music with the world through relentless touring from their eleven albums. INXS, with Fortune, released their album Switch in November 2005.

"Second, I wish I was there to hang out and see your art deco building." The band has been known for their expensive taste and sharp style. A vintage building with all of the classic features would appeal to 6 musicians that have seen the best and the worst venues during their time on the road.

"Your neon marquees," Before any INXS show, their name was displayed in bright lights to attract their fans and newcomers. An impressive first impression can make or break the pace and rhythm of a telemarketing call centre culture as well when performing. JD must have enjoyed walking into large stadiums with the sights and sounds of a class A rock band.

JD seemed very excited when he says, "your jukebox arcade" Naturally, CCC has many original INXS 45 records spinning on our 4 Rockolas. In fact , we have restored a 1961 Seeberg AY160 that has a special feature. The marquee has INXS as the Artist of the week. A showing of their LP Suicide Blonde resides in the star slot. Obviously, the jukebox has song selections that are later than the 1960s. As a true and loyal fan, we felt that the band deserved the permanent "top of the pop" position.

"11 pinball machines" A solid work life balance is key. The band members would take a break from touring to visit families, travel or just enjoy life. Offering games to employees is a solid way to attain top performing staff and a way to blow off steam between calls. Many rock bands would hang out in arcades during the retro gaming era of the 1980s.

"Your 50's cafe" JD seemed very interested in the fact that we have the best double cheeseburgers and malt shakes in the whole country. Besides feeding our staff, the cafe is open to the public in Barrio Aranjuez.

During the X tour, INXS were known to spare no expense and traveled the globe in comfort and luxury. JD acknowledged how important rolling up to a gig can be when he smiles and says, "And your vintage Mercedes Limousine service for VIP guests." Our experience has shown that our clients are treated in a special way when we pick them up at SJO in a restored classic 1984 Lang.

"That sounds like a party y'all". It may not be a Devil's Party, but we can provide one of the best work environments in the BPO offshore industry. With Fortune as lead singer, INXS released the single "Pretty Vegas" on 4 October 2005.

The video winds down when JD says, "All right. Peace out. Love you guys." On 20 September 2005, J.D. Fortune won the eleven-week competition, which culminated in his singing "What You Need" in the finale to become the new lead singer of INXS.  The band announced on 11 February 2010 that J.D. Fortune would be vocalist for the performance at the 2010 Winter Olympics, but that it would be a one-off performance; the band added that a vocalist for the subsequent world tour had yet to be announced.

In conclusion of his personal shout out, he bumps his chest and says, "Awesome".

The entire staff at COSTA RICA'S CALL CENTER appreciates the time and effort in making this Cameo video. PURA VIDA JD.

On a personal note, the CEO of CCC personally recommends diving into the INXS universe. If you have never listened to the band, my suggestion would be to start with their greatest hits album and slowly work backwards to unlimited enjoyment and to create music memories. Richard Blank is proud to say that INXS is his favorite band.

INXS (pronounced "in excess") were an Australian rock band, formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales.  The name INXS was inspired by English band XTC and Australian jam makers IXL. The band made their debut on 16 August 1977 at Whale Beach.

The band's founding members were bassist Garry Gary Beers, main composer and keyboardist Andrew Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, guitarist Tim Farriss, lead singer and main lyricist Michael Hutchence, and guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly. For 20 years, INXS was fronted by Hutchence, whose magnetic stage presence made him the focal point of the band. Initially known for their new wave/pop style, the band later developed a harder pub rock and alternative rock style that included funk and dance elements.

Following Hutchence's death in November 1997, INXS made appearances with several guest singers . During a concert on 11 November 2012, INXS stated that the performance would be their last, although they did not announce the band’s permanent retirement.

INXS won six Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) awards, including three for "Best Group" in 1987, 1989 and 1992; the band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001. INXS has sold an estimated 60 million records worldwide making them one of Australia's highest selling acts.

The band's first performance as INXS was on 1 September 1979 at the Ocean Beach Hotel. INXS started out as a new wave act, but gradually moved in a more straight-ahead rock-oriented direction through the first half of the 1980s.

After Listen Like Thieves, they recorded Kick and Atlantic Records was not happy with the result; the label offered the band $1 million to go back to Australia and record another album, but the band declined.Kick was released in October 1987 and provided the band with worldwide popularity.  Kick was, by far, INXS's best-selling album of all time.

INXS won five MTV Video Music Awards for their 1988 video "Need You Tonight/Mediate".

On 22 November 1997, Michael Hutchence was found dead in his Sydney Ritz-Carlton hotel room. Despite the official coroner's report, there was continued speculation that Hutchence's death was accidental. The world lost a true poet that day. His legend continues to grow through his music, interviews, bio specials and a movie dedicated to the front man and the band. Live baby Live MH.
